Places to Visit in Paris

Paris, a fashion buff's dream land, is the most iconic city of Europe. The capital city of France, Paris is honeymooners' paradise. Rustic lanes, lip smacking food, gorgeous architecture and scenic landscape. Ever since the release of Befikre, visiting this city has been on top of my list. Like all the other millenials, a traveller like me is also always crunch on time, so I thought why not make a list of all the must visit places in Paris, so that I can get the complete essence of the place in limited time!

Eiffel Tower

Visiting Paris and not taking a tour of this place will be a sin. One of the most recognizable landmark of Paris, Eiffel Tower tops the list of the must visit place in Paris.

The Louvre

One of the largest art museum of the world, the Louvre is famous for housing one of the most famous portrait of Mona Lisa. The place is so huge that you can actually spend an entire day in the vicinity.

Champs Elysees

The most recognizable streets of Paris, Champs Elysees runs from Place de la Concorde to Arc de Triomphe. One of the scenic roads to stroll in Paris, Champs Elysees must not be missed on your trip to Paris

Notre Dame Cathedral

Paris is all about grandeur and the history and adding one more jewel to the collection is Notre Dame Cathedral. With its stunning stained glass windows, the cathedral offers gargoyle’s view of the city.


A royal chateau located just on the outskirts of Paris, Versailles is the Royal Palace that housed King Louis XIV in the year 1682. You can take a stroll in this vast palace and explore its gardens for a romantic day.

Sacre Coeur

Sitting on the highest hill in Paris, Sacre Coeur Cathedral offers the best sunset point. To get a better view, you can climb the 300 stairs and reach the top of the cathedral.

Luxembourg Gardens

If you want to dive into the real Paris, Luxembourg Gardens is the best pick for you. The lovely gardens, city’s oldest mary go round adds to the beauty of the place. While you are there, do not miss visiting Musee de Luxembourg, one of the excellent art exhibits in the city.

Musee Picasso

Known for housing one of the greatest collection of the greatest painter, Pablo Picasso, the museum has a highly exclusive designed furnishings. The place covers around 54,000 square feet and the art sprawls over in two buildings.


Disneyland does not need any introduction. A day trip from Paris, the entertainment resort is located in Marne-la-Vallee.

Moulin Rouge

The most popular cabaret in Paris, Moulin Rouge is famous not just with the locals but with the tourists. It is the birth place of the famous modern dance form, can-can dance.
